經濟部中央地質調查所多年來致力於山崩地滑相關資料的調查收集與研究分析，秉持地質資料皆屬公共財之概念，提供研發成果回饋社會；並配合「服務型智慧政府推動計畫」建置「山崩地質資訊雲端服務平臺」，以雲端架構及功能模組元件化，打造一站式服務，整合山崩地滑相關資料。平臺提供包含山崩與地滑地質敏感區、歷史山崩目錄及順向坡目錄等，亦發布多種圖資如地形陰影圖、坡度圖等，供套疊參考；該資料圖層皆秉持所見即所得之開放資料精神，提供API服務串接與下載。平臺中亦提供主題式內容及多時序圖資應用，於資訊的廣度與深度足夠滿足各種使用者，能讓民眾無任何專業門檻即可隨手快速查詢山崩或環境地質資訊，提升防災意識。

The Central Geological Survey (CGS), Ministry of Economic Affairs, has been committed to survey landslides and related phenomena, and upholds the concept that all geological data is a public property and should be released to give back to the society. And based on "service-based smart government promotion", the aim of this project is to promote “integrated service functions between governmental agencies", by constructing a cloud-based platform for release and distribution of information about potential large-scale landslides, geologically sensitive areas with landslides, dip slope inventory, and historical landslide inventory, etc. Meanwhile, geological maps, environmental geological maps, hillshade map, and slope map are integrated and released for reference. The data layer also adheres to the open data spirit, with API service connection and further utilization. The breadth and depth of the information is sufficient to satisfy various users, allowing the public to quickly query landslides or environmental geological information without any technical thresholds, and enhance public awareness of disaster prevention and reduction.
